Mr. Harris graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1981, and from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1984, where he was a member of the Law Review. His legal practice started in Kansas City, Missouri, where he worked for 18 years prior to relocating to Colorado.
Mr. Harris' litigation practice focuses on the defense of civil cases. His practice has included an emphasis on the defense of construction defect, product liability, personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, property damage and insurance coverage cases. Mr. Harris' practice has involved both trial and appellate litigation in federal and state courts in Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Minnesota.
Mr. Harris is admitted to practice in the states of Colorado and Missouri. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute, the Missouri Bar, and the Propane Gas Defense Association.
