Rob Zavaglia has been with TAM his entire career, with a practice that covers personal and corporate counseling, as well as a litigation focus in the areas of business and employment claims and professional and products liability defense.

In professional liability litigation Rob regularly represents attorneys, financial planners, securities brokers, appraisers, architects, and engineers in claims arising out of the full spectrum of their professional duties. His litigation experience includes acting as lead counsel on cases involving conflicts and breach of fiduciary duty, specialty financial products, real property defects and disclosures, and civil and structural design and engineering.

Rob's products liability defense includes extensive experience in the medical field, defending manufacturers in the range of industries from surgical implants to state-of-the-art surgical devices, as well as multi-district pharmaceutical litigation. He also assists corporations and common carriers in defense of large exposure cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

In addition to his defense work, Rob counsels a number of private corporations and individuals for their legal needs. His legal consulting covers a variety of issues, including business partnerships and due diligence, commercial leasing and trade and employment contracts, defense of Colorado Civil Rights Division and EEOC complaints, protecting confidential business practices and contract enforcement, personal liability issues, and risk avoidance and mitigation strategies. He frequently represents insurance carriers in coverage decisions and disputes across the region, both at the trial and appellate levels.

Rob maintains an active appellate practice in both the Colorado appellate courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Rob has been specially admitted to numerous jurisdictions around the country as regional litigation counsel for his clients.

First published in 5280 Magazine's April 2009 edition, Rob was selected to the inaugural "Colorado Rising Star" class, and has been recognized by the publisher of Colorado Super Lawyers in each successive annual publication since for his work in professional liability defense.
